Kentucky - Travel and Tourism

The nine distinct regions of Kentucky offer visitors an array of opportunities to do, see and enjoy. From the hills of Central Kentucky Bluegrass to the mountains of the eastern Appalachians, Kentucky’s geographical diversity has much in store for the visitors. The Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park is one of the most populous resorts in Kentucky. You can enjoy thrill rides with family at the Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville. The 40 mile long nature conservation area Land Between the Lakes is an important attraction in this resort. The Cumberland Gap National Historical Park was first used by large game animals and later by the Native Americans. Newport Aquarium at NewPort has an open air shark viewing area, a King Penguin habitat, Jellyfish Gallery, Gator Bayou, and much more. The Bluegrass Region with racetracks is a beautiful and the most popular region in Kentucky. Daniel Boone Country home to the Daniel Boone National Forest is a grand experience. The canyons of Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge’s Sandstone arches are equally majestic.
