Richmond



Richmond is the sixth largest city in Kentucky and the county seat of Madison County. Colonel John Miller founded the city in 1798. He was a Revolutionary War Soldier and the city was named after his birthplace, Richmond, Virginia.
Richmond, Kentucky is on the southern edge of the Commonwealth's beautiful Bluegrass Region. The city is easily accessible by I-75 and is the seat of Madison County, one of the fastest growing counties in the state.
